Ministries
At Demorest Baptist Church, we are passionate about serving each other and those around us. There are many opportunities to get involved and feel at home both within and beyond the walls of the church. We encourage every individual to find a place to use their God-given talents.
Worship
Demorest Baptist Church is passionate about worshiping and glorifying God through voice and music. The congregation of Demorest Baptist enjoys a wide range of musical styles-including Southern gospel songs, great hymns of the faith, and the occasional contemporary tune. Whatever the music may be - sung by voices or played on instruments - it is a gift to honor and praise the Lord.
Children and Youth
Children and youth ministries at Demorest Baptist Church are staffed by a group of passionate individuals who want to share the love of God with each and every student.  Preschool through high school-age students are introduced to stories from Scripture, along with activities that help reinforce the lesson.
WMU
The women at Demorest Baptist Church are ministered to through monthly ladies' meetings. These meetings usually plan church mission projects and plan small group Bible studies. Over the years they have met together to study God’s Word using Lifeway study materials which
they apply to their mission projects. The ladies' focus on two large mission projects each year: Operation Christmas Child and a backpack drive for less-fortunate children.
Sunday School
Sunday School plays a vital role in accomplishing relationships with others and God because it provides the best atmosphere for meeting people.  Each of us need godly relationships beyond the worship service that can only be formed in a small group. Each class is designed for discipleship, prayer, ministry, evangelism, fellowship, and worship.
There's Hope for the Hungry
Every fourth Thursday of the month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM we provide free groceries for any family that is in need of food. We also share the gospel with each guest and offer them encouragement through relationship and prayer. The mission of There's Hope for the Hungry is to increase disciples of Jesus Christ and decrease food insecurities throughout North Georgia.
